haha i keep a pack of cards in my pocket that i superglued together and if someone says then no how to do it i will put the deck in my pocket be like are you sure and hand them the superglued deck and laugh at them cuz they cant even get the deck split hahaha

If you're performing to a group, and one person casually whisters something to a neighbour, don't let it put you off. It's only when one obnoxious guy is revealling teh secret to the audience in a way that almost physically prevents you from continuing with the trick that you're screwed. But that's when audience management comes in.

I've had fun with this at times. Someone will say something like, 'you did a dl' (obviously not those words). I'll actually do a false dl to fool them. Without being too obvious, I do the motions of a dl, purposely bringng more attention to what I'm doing and making them believe that I am in fact doing a dl. I'll usually put this card face down on a flat surface or in there hand (even better) and give them instructions of some sort telling them not to turn over the card. Or sometimes I just say, "Now what card do you have?" If they turn over the card, I jokingly frown on them saying "you're not supposed to turn over the card", even though it didn't matter because I didn't do a dl. Then I follow that up with a real dl that looks the same as the fake. Just go from there. I've found that after they see that you didn't do a dl, they'll discount the times when you really do.

ya, one time i was performing for my classmates the one trick where you riffle through the cards and have them think on one they see and you tell them one one the were thing of and this one girl when i was done with doing tricks for the moment asked my if i ( explained how i did it) and even though she was right ( and cute as edited , ) i just told her no anyways and left on that note then i saw her go to my teacher and explained how i did it i was sort of pissed about it, but i didnt let it bother me. also i have a moto which simply is if somebody "figures out a trick" or isnt impressed with i trick i alway do one better.
