Seriously though. Is a shirt and vest ok. I want to get a topit. Would I need a jacket for a topit or could I use a Jacket.

WRONG!!!! I have topits in my sport coat, my suit coat and one vest. I have even put a topit in a windbreaker without ever flashing. The Linking Ring has an ad every now and then for a topit you can use wthout a jacket or vest. I am going to look into that one sometime.

I think he meant that you don't have to HAVE to wear a jacket or coat to use a topit---it CAN be done with only a vest. Which is actually news to me; I'll keep it in mind for the future.

I know you use them and I do not but I did witness Ammar do a routine with a topit and no jacket at a lecture in 2000.
I would not recommend no jacket but it can be done.

Where can I find a GOOD topit. I know what they can do just don't know if they have quality like cards. Cards are cards but some are better than others. Just wondering.

You don't "find" a topit, you "make" one. A pattern is available from Michael Ammar for just a few dollars. Take the pattern and your jacket to your nearest tailor and voila! You have a Topit!
