I agree with Sirbrad in that anyone that thinks this twit Angel is a fabulous magician is uneducated. I tried to watch one of the mind freak shows and turned it off within ten minutes.
It was absoultely ridiculous!
His outdated grunge look is too much to take in long doses.
I hope the broad takes him to the cleaners the way that he's been taken the idiots that follow him.
The only thing that I hate about it is the fact that some pompous Lawyer will get a wallet full. They are the parasites of the earth.

So you base your entire opinion off his TV Show.
Have you ever seen his real stage show? ITs really rather entertaining and artistic.

Dont get me wrong, I am not saying his tv show is great or is his tv magic. I dont think it is, I dont watch it. I couldnt stand it.

But I do enjoy his real stage show.

Since that is most of our contact with him. I never heard of him before the show and that's what I'm directing my opinion toward.
He may have a good stage show or even take a spectacular crap now & then but so does a lot of other people.
His show is a joke he just appears to be way to full of himself.
This chick was with him before anyone knew who he was then, he gets some publicity and dumps her for some Hollywood tail.
I don't know, I hope she gets a fair share.

I have lost some respecet for him, due to many things on the show as well- not just the show itself.

ok, so, I know this is kind of an old topic, AND this is my first message, but I just couldn't pass up not replying to this. First of all, I am not ashamed to admit that I am a fan of Criss's. I also know that pretty much all of what Criss's [soon to be ex]wife's lawyer says is NOT true. I have been a loyal watcher of Mindfreak since the first season and Joann was in EVERY and if not ever almost all of the episodes during the first season. They always had her opinion on the stunts, she did not seem, even in the least...ignored. Saying that she was ignored was like saying dogs don't bark. I also have had the pleasure of seeing Criss perform live, and I have met him. And he was nothing but nice to me and all the other fans around. Also, guess who was with him??? Joann! [this was not long after the show aired in 05] she looked pretty well dressed and taken care of to me, with her fancy sunglasses and louis vuitton purse, or whatever the edited bag it was she had with her...

Now I'm not saying that I don't think that he didn't ever do any thing wrong. But geez people, the guy is only human and even if he did do any of the things Joann is claiming, divorcen thing to be going through, even worse if its in the public eye is not a fun thing to have to deal with. Imagine how you would feel if your personal buisness was splattered all over the tabloids...And I don't care what ya'll say, I'm 19 and have been performing card tricks, and magic tricks since I was 8. Criss is a good magician who knows how to engage his audience in whatever he is doing. Thats all, ya'll can chew me out if ya'll want. I don't care. I just had to say something.

What rubs people/magicians wrong is when Criss Angel fans impose their opinion of him on everyone else and get hostile or resort to personal attacks when others disagree. Or when Angel fans pretend to know that he doesn’t use TV Magic and other swindles to enhance his appearance and talent. Everyone pretty much knows my opinion about the guy.

I have worked with attorneys for over 10 years in a previous career and known many a lot longer. I can guarantee that anything that comes from Joann Sarantakos’ Attorneys mouth is lies. Divorce attorneys are the worst. They love to stir the pot and are driven purely by greed. If Joann was so mistreated in the relationship, why did she not just leave sooner? Well, there is that greed thing again…

yeah I'm not one of those fans...I like him..but I don't think he's the GREATEST thing that ever lived, like some of the Loyals do on his boards..some of them are a little creepy actually...its like their lives revolve around Criss and ONLY Criss...its weird..and yeah, believe me..i KNOW divorce lawyers suck..my parents are going through a divorce right now...and its not pretty...i guess thats why i felt the need to kind of stick up for Criss...because I, being one of the children, am stuck in the middle of it all, along with my 13 year old brother. and I swear, performing is the only thing that is keeping me sane

Not likely as long as Lohan keeps returning to rehab and Paris Hilton continues to reveal just how mindless she really is...both fodder for the press. It would be brilliant misdirection if Britney Spears entered rehab again, left her kids somewhere, flashed her cooch again or just coked out.Bigger fish to fry than Angel's divorce drama.

As far as Criss' personal life, IF he and his estranged wife are and have been LEGALLY separated, depending on the separation agreement, he may not owe her a dime since the date of the separation. He messed up when he began to flaunt the women he was hanging around with. For his personal life to be so "personal", he did a fine job of making it public. Ya know....Even Houdini cheated on his wife.

What's even more sad than Angel's show and his bad acting and worse patter, is the fact that he has some VERY talented people, such as Banachek and Johnny Thompson being his "Yes Men". They remind me of parasites making a livlihood from their host. I understand it's a paycheck, but give me a break.... Their value as magicians (to me) has been greatly reduced. Those that can, do....Those that can't, give consultations.
