Just saw a preivew for a new show this season. In one of the episodes he is mimiking Criss Angel... and it looked hilarious.

Thats one episode I will watch.

I doubt it won't be anything new in the CA spoof world.

I hate Mencia now. He just has the "I can make racist jokes and do whatever I want because it's my TV show, hahaha I'm so rebellious and absurd" attitude all the time.

Hes always been like that... and I like him. If you can look past the top layer, its actually a lot deeper- he actually makes a lot of good points. And I see nothing wrong with what he does... he entertains people. thats his job.
Racist jokes... um I am pretty sure quite a few greats have done the same. Richard Pryor, Eddie murphy, dave chappell... shall I go on...

You forgot Michael Richards. Oh wait, he's white scum because he made the joke. Nevermind.

I'm quite disappointed in Carlos. He seems to be ripping quite a few people off lately.

^^I knew what the second link was gonna be about 10 seconds into Carlos Mencia's video. A while back I read about that "feud" between Carlos Mencia and Joe Rogan... pretty interesting stuff.

Do you guys honestly think that Mencia is ripping off some guy that put a video up on Youtube now? The Blaine spoof is pretty generic. I'm sure the Angel thing will be the same way. As for Mencia/Rogan, don't even get started on that. The main joke in the arguments was done by at least 4 other guys.

I personally dont think he ripped it off, as many many many other peoples videos are alike. You really can only spoof on these guys a few ways. Funny when one penguin makes a "knock off" its funny, when mencia does it... its ripping people off.

Oh man, that video frickin sucked. Magic spoofs just don't even make me laugh anymore. Magicians are way too easy of targets to make jokes about, it just doesn't even take any wit or skill to do a parody of magicians. They all follow the same pattern too. The "magician" acts all cocky and mysterious, asks the spectator to do a usual action (pick a card, think of a number, etc) then reveals it in an impossible way, even for magicians. Or, they can just skip that part and do "tricks" only achievable through blatantly obvious video editing (which is supposed to be humorous for some reason)

Not just those Angel and Blaine spoofs, every magic spoof. No effing originality.

No, that was a BLATANT rippoff of the Blaine spoofs. Even the looking into the camera part. Mencia is known for stealing everyones jokes so why not steal from some youtubers? This video was bad in more ways than one, more like 100.

I was biased in my previous post. And I will freely admit that. I just don't care for Carlos Mencia. I think he pushes things too far. In my opinion, he's reinforcing negative stereotypes. Dave Chappel's show. He was trying to do something good, but it just went to far, and he ended up quiting his show. I think the same thing is happening with Carlos. I liked him in the beginning, but he's pushing things too far now, in my opinion.
