Yeah, it's pretty good.
I didn't read all of it, but frmo what I remember the first part of it is pretty much his autobiography, then the second part is 40 simple magic tricks that you can do.

Yea, I recommend his book. The tricks are all for beginners but the 1st half is good. He talks about his childhood and the beginning of his career. The book changed my views on Criss Angel, I respect him more. Hope this helps.

I started reading this book, and it literally made me sick to my stomach. He just annoys me. There are many other books that are better worth the read. For instance, the new Houdini book that came out.

If you watch him on tv regularly, (i do , because it is the only magic related tv program out there) then you already know whats in the book.
His whole "life" story is he same, and i can hear his semi-lispy, Brooklyn accent speaking through the whole thing.

And the tricks, well.. suck.
Impromptu, but would not gain you any respect as a performer.
Get the book to learn about him, really. It is inspiring TO A DEGREE, his whole "pilgrimage" to las Vegas etc.

Buy it if you REALLY want to know all about Criss Angel's personal life and his background. Otherwise, don't buy it.

I bought the book and managed to read the whole thing in a couple of days. It was not a lioterary classic, but it made a nice addition to my library of books regarding the magical arts. If you want a REALLY good book to read regarding magic...pick up a copy of Bill Kalush's The Secret Life of Houdini. Absolutely FASCINATING! It's taken me like 3-4 weeks to read it and I'm about 80% finished with it. Good book. Check it out.

3 books only? Royal Road to Card Magic, J.b Bobo's Modern Coin magic, mark Wilson's complete Course in Magic. I read like the first 2 chapters in the David blaine book. it's really interesting. You could pick that up.

Hiding the elephant by Jim Stienmeyer, The Glorious Deception by Jim Stienmeyer adn The Magician and the card sharp by Karl Johnson. Three amazing books on magic which I can assure you that you will love them.
Get them at any borders in the game and puzzle section.

Get em,
