Closer uses a coin - you can borrow that.

Opener uses a paperclip - you can't borrow that.

I'd personally go with Closer but to be honest, it's which ever you prefer. Where do you want to be performing it? How often? To whom?

I've heard that the opener isn't very convenient. In other words, you'll buy it, learn the secret, try it out a couple times, then go pick up some cards or coins and move on, forgetting about paper clips.

Also, we shouldn't be the ones to decide for you which one is better. It's all a matter of opinion.

The fact that a coin is MUCH harder to bend than a paperclip pretty much guarantees a better reaction. Of course, that also depends on the presentation. And the coin can be borrowed, which makes it that much better.

Get the closer.

I have both of these. The closer is easy to control the set-up, But the opener is great to gain attention in resturants and bars. I take out the opener and just stare at the paperclip and it starts bending, people watch and then start to come over and ask to see more, (why it is called the opener). If you are already into the magic session then the closer would be more fitting.

The closer is SO IMPORANT because it will remind them of that guy doing that ending trick and thats the trick they will remember you by.
