Hello, Next week I have a 15-20 min. stage show and am really exited.

I plan on doing linking rings, cups and balls, and magicians insurance policy. I will be performing on stage after dancers and before a play. I will be getting it on tape and will post it (as well as make a promo video).

I need some advice, any will be fine.

You sure those three things will take 15 minutes? Probably, since linking rings and cups and balls can be long and versatile routines. I think the order should go linking rings, insurance policy, then cups and balls. Linking rings and cups and balls are both old "classics" that everyone know about and might now be so well back to back, that that's completely my own opinion. I hope everything goes well, and I'll look forward to the video!

How big is the stage? Cups and balls might be unviewable to those in the back. Go with something larger next time..........

I wouldnt do cups and balls. Linking Rings will work. Even to a nice piece of music. And Insurance Policy will work. Mentalism Plays very well on stage. I did some last night at a Jazz bar here in town, killed.

You should always play to the back of the house. So, how far is the last spectator in the last row going to be? Will he be able to see the props you are using? Will he be able to hear what you are saying?

This applies to everything you are doing and not just he cups and balls. For instance, what size rings will you be using in your Linking Ring routine? If all you have are 4 or 5 inch rings, they won't work. On stage, you might get away with 8 inch rings, but 12 or 13 inch rings work best.

do some type of levitation, like the zombie combo or dancing cane or the floating wand.
