Ok, I have tried to start juggling for the last few months, but really need a starting points.

Does anybody have specific reccomendations that they found really helpful? If you liked the teaching on a certain DVD, or preffered the content of another, that would be great.

I've looked around for DVDs, and a lot seem to be for jugglers already at a certain level, and not just for beginners.

There was a video out called More Balls than Most. It's what I learned from.

Wicked thanks. With juggling, is there any advantage from visual learning? I am prepared to learn from a book, but I would have thought is would be easier to see and learn with a tape or DVD.

What do you guys think?

I taught myself from watching videos of others. It just takes a lot of practice.

Zachmonky gave a video review for "Do You Want to Learn Juggling?". I think it's a Magic Makers DVD, but apparently it's very good. If you've seen Zach's juggling, he's skilled and hasn't even gotten through half of the stuff on the video.

The only con, is that I'd imagine with a DVD, you'd do a lot of rewinding to catch some things. Plus you'd have to learn in an area in front of a TV, which may not be the best atmoshpere for juggling. You can take a book out in your garage or backyard, and easily pick up wherever you want to learn.

yep. search "vegas magic shop ebay" in google, and u can get it from the maker of the dvd on ebay for liek 8 bucks.
