I am sure that you guys would come across this all the time, especially if you were a younger magician. Lets just say i have made a coin appear some one will say "Do it again" but you cant make it appear again because it has already appeared. What do you do?

They mean, "Make another coin appear."

why not just make another coin appear then they will be dumbfounded...and if you don't have another one, tell em "I already did, weren't you watching?"

Thanks it isn't really that much of a problem anyway.

You could also vanish the coin then produce it again in a different way. Another alternative, if you're prepared, would be to produce one coin, then when they ask to see it again, vanish the first coin, switch it for an obviously different coin(larger, smaller, different color), then produce the new coin. Yet another option, upon recieving the request for a repeat, do the switch, then pretend to hand the first coin to the person who asked, but actually hand them the new coin, while saying something like "Here, you try."

I hate when this happens. What I like to do is say "(some sort of distraction)" and while they aren't looking pocket the coin. This hardly ever works though.

But seriously, what I would do is take the coin you made appear and then perform a trick with it (ignoring the spectator to do it again) like sinful.

You could mime placing the coin (that you just produced), into your free hand but really keep it in a palm (I'm sorry, I forget the technical term right now. I'm a little tired). Then act as if you're putting the coin in your pocket, and then produce another coin.

well i think you should never do a trick twice within 5 minuten for the same person....they won't be listening to you..just trying to concentrate how you did it
