Paddy,

Sad to say its not the kids fault they don't use proper english and capital letters in the correct places. Its TEACHERS. They don't stress the importance of it.

Guys wake up and smell the toast burning.Paddy is 110 % right. IT DOES MATTER !

Hi Dave,
Thanks for the plug and kind words. If anybody wants to see a clip from my "Building a Tip" DVD go to www.magicpitch.com and scroll down. Oh and order one while you are there. :D

Later,Don

For more info his his dvd, you can find my review it.
Highly recommend for the busker and just something interesting to watch.
See a master in action and learn from him.

The rest of this topic is well.. to say the least funny and yet interesting.
I do like how Don explained the importance of spelling on the forums, and mostly in life in general.

The rest of the topic... I wil leave to paddy, don, and blood.

I will add my endorsment of Don's DVDs. He has more than the "How to Build a Tip" DVD and they are all worth more than what they cost. Every time I have followed Don's advice I made a lot more money than before.

If you want to start off right, get all his DVDs, study them, apply what you learn from them and you will see results. GREAT results.

"Jimmy Talksalot has an excellent post on another forum about asking someone if they want to see magic. It turns off most people."

haha jimmy is a big goof!!.. he's my buddy and one edited of a performer..but if you told him that, he's so modest that he would respond with "wait til you see somebody GOOD from New Orleans"..gotta love jimmy.

his advice is to never "ask" anybody anything... i got some real world experience with him last summer, and seriously his show 99% of the time has litterally NO audience interaction / participation what so ever....

imagine a magician in his own world on the street just doing his thing whether the people are watching him or not.. he dosn't acknowledge them yet he pulls them in and they stay....and more importantly they PAY.. it's insane, and a beautiful thing to watch

also about don driver...
i'd reccomend his DVD's any day... i've seen that bally used in ocean city, and it works like a charm!!!! i couldn't belive how fast my friend was able to build a crowd from nothing. its like a magnet that just attracts the people... his other dvd the svengalli pitch is awesome, and it's helped me out a lot.. he also has a new one coming out on the jam auction wich i cant wait to see... hes also a edited of a cardman and a funny guy, i love don!

Busking is not for you. You are too young and too inexperienced to even think of it. You say you "have been doing magic since I was really little," You ARE little. You don't have the maturity or experience for the street.

Actually, everybody thinks I'm 16 and I have the maturity of an adult.

I"m 20, but if i get clean cut, i look like i'm 16 ^_^.
