I just got a cheap golf cart and i was trying to think of a way of vanishing it. Any ideas on how to do it or plans on how? Also it must be so I don't have to mess around with the insides of it. (I don't want a collapsing golf cart shell :D )

If you know copperfields Vanishing statue of liberty, then you could adapt the principle to this...

The only other things I can think of are:

Mirrors

Trap doors

maybe Copperfields plane vanish...

If I think of any others than I'll post them...

the idea of the liberty vanish is good, but this is meant to be quick and in the time that occurs, you could have already had someone drive off somewhere else with it. Mirrors may work, but i want it to try to be a natural sheet over golf cart, golf cart gone. This may though be able to be done with mirrors, i just need to figure out a arrangement.

Since it's logical to have a golf cart outdoors, black art would be hard to justify.

Look at the work of Franz Harary. He regularly vanishes things like cars, tanks, space shuttles, entire Casinos, etc...

Sorry, i don't know where you'll get the plans but the following site does have the vanishing motorcycle illusion. Maybe this could be adapted?

magicmakersillusions .com

(Nope, it's not the one you're probably thinking about!! No Stiff connection at all!!)

J C Sum's site has a demo of the effect aswell as their vanishing car illusion.

Not cheap, but a definate way to get local press attention.

These illusions, you're looking for, are top-notch illusions. THey're going to be expensive AND difficult.

I would think that theres something out there very similar to that, has the same characteristics as other illusions.

Go here, it has a lot of illusion plans, and maybe what you're looking for.

Hope this helped
