Robert, I hear (clearly) what you're saying, but my coat is starting to look like something from Captain Kangaroo. I know most of us here won't remember him, but I think you're old enough to know what I'm talking about.

In certain instances it would be nice to have a holster arrangement, but you're right that it's not for everybody. It's either that, or I call up Lynetta Welch and have every piece of clothing I wear custom tailored. For that amount of money I think I can afford the one time $175 setup and wear it with a variety of outfits.

I'm still not trading in Frank's pouch though. It has it's place too, but as I said it doesn't really lend itself to walkaround or trade show work where I wear a suit and tie.

Dave, I use Frank's pouch all the time. Yes even in a suit doing trade shows. Best investment I ever made.

The Poacher's Pouch.

Paddy, that was my first pouch from Frank. In fact I had a hand in the design when he was first getting around to making them.

If it's the one I'm thinking of, that one would work with a suit. Nice smooth lines, no distracting loops or external pockets, detachable flap, hugs your body fairly well... I wear that one as a general utility pouch for Ren Faires.

For Cups and Balls work, not doing Gazzo's jumbo melon load, I went with his Cellini pouch. It still holds 3-4 large oranges (or more!)quite nicely with room left over. This was before he came up with his current multi-pocket busker's pouch. I've worn this both on the streets and in trade shows. The soft black leather looks good and makes a handy servante when empty as it too hugs the body closely.

In short, anything Frank makes is well worth the investment.

I'm actually thinking about getting the Deluxe Buskers Pouch. I was talking to Frank and he said it was large enough to hold a melon and six oranges with rood to spare.

After all that I've heard about these things I just might have to get around to getting one.

Devny, what Dave said is very true. Anything that Frank sells is always underpriced. Frank's pouches are of the same high quality as Gazzo's but less than half the price. He ALWAYS gives you much more quality than you pay for.
