I noticed i gave you no info about me, and I know you guys hate it when people do that so...I'm an intermediate card guy, and I'm still a beginner with coins. Thanks.
*Claps his hands frantically* Yeah! people DO read our posts, and some DO listen. Yeah! *claps so hard he falls out of his chair*

I didn't want to post this in general magic, so this is pretty much the only place where it can go. I was thinking about getting The Daniel Garcia Project Volume 1, mainly for rubber made. I have a couple questions on this effect, so I would like it if you guys could help me out.
How much preperation? If you have the gimmick then 30 seconds
Is it gimmicked? Yes, but you wear the gimmick, it's not like a stealth pen that you have to carry in your pocket.
If so, is the gimmick hard to make? As far as I know, you have to buy it
Is it practical? Yeah I do it all the time
Is it impromptu? No
This is in my top three, and I would like to make a purchase before the end of the month[I usually buy stuff at the end of the month, so practice it for a month and buy something new] I'll give you my top three, in case there is something that you think is better.
In no order-
The paper Engine Great book, you should buy this too
Totally out of control Another good one to buy!
DGP1 I'd buy this first, it just has more stuff to practice and more tricks...
Rubber Made Pro's and Con's
Pro's:
It's insanely visual.
easy to do
examinable before and after
people freak out
You can wear the gimmick all night and nobody will know you have it
Con's
lighting can be an issue (exposure?)
you have to wear a button down shirt, or glasses, unless you come up with a different place...
You can't give out the linked rubber bands, unless you unlink them first
When Daniel said what you needed for the effect, I rewound the thing 3 times to make sure I heard him right, it's just a weird use of the gimmick.
I would go with DGP1 first then TOOC, then PE.
Just my opinion,
