Great stuff.I ballyed on Gorilla shows many years ago.My good friend Jimmy Dixon had the Girl to Gorilla show in Circus-Circus casino in Vegas that was in the movie "Diamonds are Frover"

Very well done, had my attention. Good transitions. It also gets your attention in what is to come. On a side note, reminds me of the old carnival that use to come to town with the sideshows and a girl would transform into a gorilla, scared the heck out of me when I first saw it as a small kid.

Thats exactly what I am doing. Bringing back an old sideshow illusion. I updated it a little. Here are some images. I just finished making my Pepper's Ghost fader as well as the cage door.

................My latest Video: Invisible Palm

It is an old illusion that I remember being done on the Atlantic City boardwalk. As a kid I used to sit outside the tent with my mom and watch the people come running out screaming. If you want to see this rent "Diamonds are Forever" 007. At about the 45 min mark there is a scene of this when it used to be at Circus Circus in Vegas. I will rip a copy of the scene and post it for you. Maybe this weekend. Although the whole illusion setup is dated my version will have a few more special effects. This is known as the "Girl to Gorilla", Zambora, or Gabora. If you do a search you'll get some pretty good info, even on how it is done.

Nope Jimmy didn't get in the movie.The mad scientist was an actor.Don't know much about the set-up he had at Circus-Circus. He had a hollywood special effect crew make it.

I did go see it once.It was the best I ever saw.

Ok, Halloween 2007 is upon us. I have built a new Girl to Gorilla cage with all the special effects. Here is a pic of the cage taken with my camera phone. This is not completed as I still have the floor to put in and I have this huge fake lock to put on the cage door.
