I'm hoping for (or looking for) a restaurant alot with kids like chilies or TGI fridays~

TGIF is more of an adult restaurant, but it has it's share of kids. Well at least the Bar scene there gets rowdy enough that kids should stay away. I would, if I wanted to do restaurant magic, pick Red Robin as my stomping ground. The tables there are setup pretty nice so each table becomes your stage, and the people next are left wanting you to come visit them.

I work at a family style restaurant franchise called East Side Mario's. Good food, nice people - Great Magic!

While I was in Kansas City, Kansas working the race track, I went to Arthur Bryant's (a BBQ place) and I saw a flier for a magician there on certain nights. Big place, great food and lots of tables to perform at.

I work in a trendy little place called the Cornerstone Cafe. They have live entertainment (besides me), a cafe, and awesome food. Oh, and I hear they have a really great magician too.

It sounds like you are thinking of getting into the business. If this is true, join the IBM or SAM, go to local meetings and ask there.

Try places that have Kids night. Many do have this and they seek special entertainment.

For a few years I worked at the Moxies at West Edmonton Mall. Nice environment and less kids.

This is the type of question that screams out: if you have to ask, you arn't ready. Look around you, if there is a magician working go watch him.

I'm sensing a recurring theme here.

Paddy, you bash the kid that if he has to ask he's "not ready" - and yet you'd previously answered his question with a suggestion to go to IBM or SAM and ask them.

If he wanted "easy money" he'd get a job at a restaurant and wear a button that says "Tipping is NOT a city in China"...right?

grip(Tim), I've worked at a handful of different types of restaurant - locally owned italian spots, major chains like Fridays etc.

I work at a quaint little Italian restuarant called "Mama Romas".

I strongly support the private owned shops and businesses so I find it fitting to perform there.

Though the tables are small the atmosphere is great and cheerful and for some reason, It feels very intimate, in an innocent kind of way.

It is honestly a great place to work!!!
