I was looking for the name of the trick (I have seen copperfield preform it) where the assistant is in a box, and a drawing of the girl is on the front of the box. He uses a chalk board eraser, and erases her hands, etc. Does anyone know the name of this trick, and where I can find it? And about how much?
Thank you!

Well, I had to dig into the far reaches of my fragile memory for this one. I believe Copperfield called that illusion "Blueprint For Mystery" It's been quite awhile since that illusion appeared in his shows.

I can't quite seem to remember if this illusion was made by John Gaughan, Jim Steinmeyer or David Mendoza. I'm leaning towards Steinmeyer, though. I think that this would cost you a bundle. Quite possibly, I would suspect that Copperfield owns all the rights to this illusion, so that others are not able to perform this. I do not believe that you will be able to purchase this illusion.

i know of a builder here in the U,K that has made and sold this illusion before, his version does not use a chalk board butjust pieces of body (possibly made from card/thin wood.) and are then removed and added as needed.

if you like i could give you his email to have a chat with him?
