If you buy the actual new and improved version, it is a lot more sturdy and will not warp, hence the terms "new and improved."

Ben Salinas used a 5 of hearts that showed up fine, he also has a GIANT sketch pad that he got at an art shop.

Is it worth it to buy the actual product itself? Or to buy the DVD and make one from scratch?

I'll have to see the refills and the other items that might have other numbers and suits....

Buy the DVD and make it. They're not complicated at all, and because you're making it yourself, you have the freedom to modify it, and customize the effect all you like if you want something different.

This one is modified with 2 happenings. 1 normal, and 1 in reverse.

About how much does it cost to buy a large art pad, for a stage-view audience? (for cardiographic) I'm looking into buying my own! :D

Just wondering, Is it a really easy self-working kind of trick thats hard to mess up? (The moving of the sketch that is) or is it something really hard to control? Thanks in advance

Very easy to control. The hard part if forcing the card. If you can do that, you're good to go.

Go to Walmart. You can find ones that will do the trick for under $10.

I got mine at Michael's. It's huge....

Is it a problem if I'm small, and the pad is big? lol.

I would say the best view is 180ish...I hope you aren't performing in many surrounded situations....

being directly to the side of you with the notepad could give away the trick...

Although I don't think it matter so much WHICH card rises, I think a seven of hearts would be best.
Maybe the number seven will subconciously draw out feelings of more mystery because of the whole mystery behind the number seven (lucky seven, seven days to make the world, seven lanterns, etc. mostly biblical from what I read in Card College).

That's my take on it.

Does anyone know where to get the smaller hand held version of this for resturant work?
