does anybody at all know any sort of information to get me pointed in the right direction with this..

if you do a search on youtube for cyril takayama i believe he was on magic revolution or something like that. it is the best coin production i have ever seen. he literally makes hundreds of coins appear from his hands...

all i can think is fake skin or some really really awesome gimmick...

so, anything of that nature would be nice.

also.. there is a video of him asking a spectator to look at the cards as he riffles thru them, then he asks her to write down the card that she saw.. she writes down the 6 of daimonds.. he then, goes to a envelope, with "his prediction" inside of it. . he pulls it out, and its the 4 of daimonds!!! everybody is like OMG cyril just messed up.. then she starts to shake the card and blow on it, and the pips multipy and now it is the 6 of diamonds, fully examinable..

i know there are new versions of the moving pips with the box and stuff, and i think those are lame.. anybody know where i can find this gaff?

thanks in advance!

Theory 11 is selling the Distortion moving pips cards. They're also in the SOC with no routine. The coin effect is Dean Dill's Explosion with a few added effects after the original.

To add to that, Cyril mixed several things besides Explosion in his coin routine. To clarify, I'm guessing the part you're asking about is the coin shower from hands, not the table work. I wish I knew...

hmmm, i just dont really want to spend freakin 350 bucks for windowmation lol. i am sure that it is well worth it, but gosh, i have mouths to feed haha.. maybe after tax return? i am sure there is much more to invest in than that tho...

Distortion looks really nice.. Cyril also did a CTW on a submarine, or a glass bottom boat. did your friend really sell that fish tank for 5k??? wow, would explain why the fish didnt even react when he had his hand inside the tank to get Yuko's Card lol..

as for the waterfall of coins coming from his hands, i can only guess he has some way to pump a bunch of coins up his arm or something with some fake skin covering everything, cause he has his sleeves up....

What do you think about this Cheeseburger trick? besides the obvious gimmicked sign, any other ideas?

Of course it's a gimmicked sign. How else?

I can think of a few ways. But they would be very messy... :?

Anyway, I am guessing that the Shower Coins (as I am now calling them) must have been the result of a very complex (or at least very thought-out) gimmick.

If I where to try to duplicate the shower coins:

Clear or flesh color tube in jacket - tube connects to ring - manipulation skills keeps tube from being seen. With the amount Cyril moves his hands around, he could have switch from hiding it behind his hand to hiding it in his palm several times over.

The second shower of coins yould require maybe 40-50 coins. If the coins where of large diameter and thin width, you would appear to be producing a vast number of coins but still keep them in a concentrated space.

Tough as it would be to pull off, Cyril is a pretty skilled magician.

No, but I've seen a magician performing it on a late night show on YouTube. Can't remember which show, though. Some English guy, but it was an American show. I'm not much help, huh?

I don't have it so I wouldn't know (most of what I've seen are one-way changes) - - you could request a review of it on the TRICKS REVIEW section
