I think you are right. If he wanted to cheat with trick photography, he could have at least done it a bit more sparingly. He has a small following of loyal worshippers(middle school girls who think he's hot) but apart from that, I think most people are starting to see him do stupid stuff like levitate from one roof to another, at which point they say, "yeah, right..." and change the channel.

He's just gone too far with it and not everyone is buying his crap anymore.

I seriously despise criss angel. Sometimes I show some of my co-workers a few tricks, there's always one person who says something like: so Criss angel is your hero, right? Criss Angel can do this and that. Did you read his book? blablabla

I wouldn't mind as much, but like he goes around and always says stuff like: Have we met before? I want you to confirm what you are seeing right now for the audience at home. I don't use camera tricks. Make sure that this is all one single uncut scene.

And then the audience is always like: wow... that was amazing. THAT WAS COOL. HOW DID YOU DO THAT? "He just took my hand and I felt like a blur and then he knew my card"but of course, in such a fake manner that you just tap your head at the terrible acting.

At least he doesn't perform commercial magic. I'm fairly sure that if he did, people would quickly figure out how they're done and screw us over.
