he uses what appars to be be a vanishing AND appearing candle. I can only find candles that either appear or vanish but never both.

I beieve he actually uses two vanishing candles and one appearing candle.
It's the WAY that he uses them that makes them look like they do both.

I am not positive, but that is what I think.

He uses separate candles. That or he uses a vanishing candle, and just knows how to reset it very quickly. But as far as I know, there are no candles that vanish and appear. The design simply wouldn't allow that.

Zach, these guys have it right. The first two are vanishing. If you're a member of SYM and get out to his show in Vegas, he's usually more than happy to talk, so you could ask him personally. You're only about 4 hours out.

Indeed he uses appearing and vanishing candles. If it helps he makes one of the disappearing candles 'appear' through use of the scarf. Hope this helps.
