i think different people we must use different opening trick.but usually,i will play color change or some effective impromptu trick to attract my spectators. :P

If im hanging out with some people and ill point somewhere and say "can you see that?" and reach over and use my flint flasher to make a flash of fire and produce a coin or a card...ect

i just want to throw this out there, try to use your most gimmiky effects that cant be inspected in the beggining of your routine...that way you can preform the trick, and quickly move on to the next trick without them inspecting..use less gimmiky or no gimmiks at all towards to end so you can let them inspect and be amazed AT THE END OF YOUR show.... i usually close off with sponge balls.

I wouldnt start with blindsided i would use for ur first trick an easy and quik one which use an normal deck of card i normaly start with a double lif trick or a pass thats quik and if u make a good show around it its also impresiv

Don't ever walk up to someone and ask if they want to see a trick. By the way, use whatever. I never have the same opener. Everytime, it is different.
