No, scripting does not. A script is always open to change, and if you find something that works better, you can change it in your script, get used to it, and voila, your routine is improved. They're not rules, they're more like guidelines, anyway. Savvy?

When I script, it's to give myself a roadmap of where I want to go and what I want to do. I deviate at times, and I ad-lib, that's a given and it's necessary for good performance. However, whatever I say is ORIGINAL to me, and not something another performer is probably doing.

Thank you for agreeing with me. Copying a performer's performance of an effect is ethically wrong, and shouldn't be done. You should always strive to be original as you can.

I keep a notebook for most of what adjones said, and a seperate one for writing down ll the tricks i know.

This way, lets say i'm going to a party, i can choose which effects i can do really quick. So when i'm performing i'm not just sitting there fiddling with cards thinking of what to do next.
