We dont always wear the helmet, sometimes we wear the cap, or sometimes no hat atall.

But for a duty on foot on a friday or saturday night, it gives a level of protection to the head should someone decide they want a new use for their bottle or the brick they found.

And of course the body armour against stabbings, hits, and bullets. And obviously most of us dont carry a firearm. We have armed response units that circulate london.

Cops without guns would be unheard of in the states.

True, and i think that, probably through EU law we will all be armed, possibly for the olympics.

But you should remember there are less guns in the UK than US. Luckily in the Met we are never more than a few minutes from an armed response unit.

Most important buildings and airports are permanently armed police officers. US embassy is impossible to get anywhere near.

I can tell the idea for swallowing ballons is a lawsuit waiting to happen. Please stop now. You could technically be sued for giving them the idea(i cant remember the official name)
Also if u did get sued and the AP got wind of it... That would be a bad rep for all party magicicans

These days it would be all over the front page of national newspapers, MAGICIAN MURDERS CHILD - or words to that effect.

I'm 16 and i do clown and magic and balloons. Even if you do show them that it's just a trick, they might try it anyway. Little kids are weird that way.
