Why even enter then??

(Pertaining to bLiNdSiDe's decision to forfeit his winning Prizes and offer them for another Contest.)

I would suppose he entered for the same reasons everyone else did ... to participate and offer his ideas.
Most people enter Contests without any intention of winning because they know the odds are already against them when they go in.
They enter on that 1 big outside chance that they might win. When they do win it's a big surprise to them.
I get all sorts of surprised reactions whenever I PM the winners of my Contests. They can't beleive they've won.
I think that's the case here, bLiNdSiDe never thought he'd win ... he was just offering his ideas just like the others.

What truly sickens me is the people who win $200 million playing the lottery and have no clue what to do, and did not expect to win. Then they claim they still want to live a "normal" life. If you want to live a normal quiet life don't play a $200 million dollar jackpot. One guy even turned it down and gave it all away because he said it was too much money!

Farthest away would be stupid, as someone could just press the 9 button for about an hour before the contest ends, for the whole hour, and still win.

What if the number was 9999999999999999999999999999999998888?888888888888888 (One hour.)

Can we honestly use his about the random objects? Some of us might come up with a really good routine and it would be really fun!

I like the one about the most Creative trick idea, even if the effect is truly impossible to do.

If the effect is impossible, what's the point?

Effect: Become god and rule the universe for the rest of eternity.
Did I win?

It's not creative unless you need to give a practical method. Without a method, it's all just running at the mouth.

Yeah. I am talking about the one where Frijid lists... Socks, Toothpaste, Yoohoo, Pillow, Pen. We list an effect, and upon request send him the message. This would be good for a lot of reasons.

1: We might come out with a routine we can use!
2: We can see other peoples effects, and draw our own conclusions of what they are and how to do them.
3: A lot more people can enter than a "Design an avatar!" or "Write a Poem!".

If you are thinking of the one I made, then the idea would be judged by frijid, and I think the points would go to the most creative, not the best effect.

Contest:
Frijid will list several non-magic related items (pieces of paper, socks, toothpaste, etc.)
Each contestant will have one opportunity to post a script for an effect using these items and these items only.
Upon Frijid's request they will be required to furnish a method via PM.
The "best effect" (which must include a feasable method), wins - Best to be determined solely by Frijid.

Dustin

I am speaking of this one.
