Easy to make actually ... you just have to run across those Peanuts that will crack open on the seam so that you have top and bottom halves.

As far a breakage during mailing, probably yes, depending on how hard they get mashed. I wouldn't chance mailing them out in anything less than a sturdy cardboard box.
