Hello... So I have been performing kid shows for a while now. I am now in the process of creating a second show. I have got a few tricks that I am incorporating now but I picked up an effect a while back. I think the name is like the Wizard Puppet. Anyways it is basically a puppet that is dressed up as a wizard. The wizard comes with 5 different colored rectangle pieces. They are numbered one through five. The effect is that the magician turns his back while an audience member places one of the five blocks in the wizards mouth . The magician then immediately knows which block they placed in his mouth. The effect alone seems pretty bland and boring. I have been thinking of ways of dressing it up... Possibly using 5 different small foods since the colored rectangles go into the mouth.
So my question is; Has anyone ever heard of/ or seen this effect? And if so, do you have any suggestions or ideals that could be incorporated into the effect?
I am not a ventriloquist, nor want to put the time and effort into learning it.
If this helps give you a better idea of what I am working with here is a picture of the puppet.
