JT's Magic History Game!

For anyone who loves the history of our great art! I'll post 5 random questions about magic and magic history, and the first one to get all of them right wins! Maybe later I'll turn it into a contest with admin approval and such, but for now there are no prizes. This is just something to get the Hall of Fame forum going!

Rules

 No editing your posts.
 No whining if you lose.
 Multiple answers for the same question will not count.

Wall of Fame

No winners yet!

The Questions

1. Which magician was knocked unconscious on stage in 1995 when a stagehand pulled a wrong rope?

2. Floram Marchand was famous for what act?

3. This magician sent Christmas cards that bore a magic theme, even after his retirement.

4. This magician died on Halloween, 1926.

5. This author wrote of Penn and Teller, "Within the magic community there are some who resent the team because of their exposes of magical effects. In fact the exposure is done so fast and confusingly that it is unlikely any lay person could follow it."

Enjoy, and good luck!

-JT

The answer to #5 is an author, and no it's not Corinda.

Wrong...

More hints:

#1 is famous for working with animals.
#3 changed his last name by one letter, and his given first name is Heinrich.
#5 is the author of Mind, Myth and Magick

These hints are too easy.

I wish you would turn it/'em into a Contest/s ... it would be nice to see someone else running Contests besides just Alvo and myself.

Come on guys, I gave you number 5 on a plate!

I'll admit #3 is hard, but I'll give you his first name, HARRY.
