Depends... Silver is up to 18 dollars or so an ounce, and the fact that Morgan or Peace Dollars are 90% silver and wiegh one ounce... You get the idea.

You could always buy Ike dollars. They aren't old, and they aren't silver, but they look and feel similar.

For the Susan B. Anthony dollars, post office stamp vending machines give them as change. Your local bank probably has some as well, along with 50c pieces and the like.

Real silver does feel different than clad coins. Look at a coin shop for junk silver. The coins are worn, and are worth less to collectors, but they are better for magic. Check them out.

Decent quality Morgans will run about $20 to $25 a piece. Worn down Morgans will be cheaper and pristine may be much more. Decent quality are still going to be worn down, but not soft. If you just want the size, go with Ikes. You'll find a much better selection and you can get gaffs from Johnson coins.

Try www.wikipedia.org for pics. That's where I found pictures of the coins I was looking for.

Im gunna estimate around 15 bucks over here. walking liberties are 7 so these are probably about 14 since its a dollar and probably come out to like 15.

Go to a local coin shop and ask for some "slicks" . These are silver coins with plenty of wear on them. That's what I did, and got 4 soft Morgan Dollar coins for $12.50 each. I took them home and polished them. They look great.

I wouldnt recommend it. half dollars are like 50 bucks on ebay. just coins in general on ebay are expensive. plus theres the killer shipping charges. Usually you get important antique coins on ebay. i dont recomend
