Welcome to Frijid Pink's 30th "Free Magic Giveaway Contest".
Contests 9 through 12 were held on the Spookclub Forums, all the others were held on these Penguin Forums.

As mentioned before I've decided to share some of my magic with fellow Magicians that I no longer have a use for or have decided I can live without. This contest comes at absolutely no cost to you. The items I'm giving away are totally free, I even pay the postage.

 Please pay particular attention to all Rules and Restrictions. Any deviations could possibly result in your disqualification from this contest.

 CONTEST RULES AND RESTRICTIONS ...

 (1) Only those who reside in the US are eligible.
Reason/s: My investment of the item to be won is has already come out of my own pocket ... and the shipping/postage is coming out of my own pocket. I am on a limited Disability Income, disabled and have difficulty getting to the Post Office. Winner will receive the item secured in simple packaging with Stamp/Post Office postage. Nothing special, but what the heck, it's FREE to you! I apologize for the residential restriction but maybe some of you other countymen could consider running your own contest/s.

 (2) All entrants must have a minimum of 200 posts on the Penguin Magic Forums.
You must have at least shown that you are a contributor to the Penguin Forums and not just entered the Contests with a minimum amount of posts to take advantage of a free magic offer. Your other contributions, financial and/or purchases from Penguin Magic are not my concern, only your post contributions. In order to be fair too those who enter my Contests that have contributed to the Forums, I have to ask that all entrants who enter have made a fair contribution as well.
Other than the above, all Penguins are eligible ... meaning any registered member of the Penguin Magic Forums who reside in the US, and have a minimum post count of 200.

 (3) Only one (1) entry per person.
Attempting to make more than one entry in any form will result in immediate disqualification. This means no use of multiple user names or editing of messages to change your guesses/answers to the contest. All edited/changed guesses/answers will result in disqualification.
 CAUTION: The Penguin Forum Moderators can and will check for infractions on multiple user names and message editing on all entries. ..... You have been warned.

 (4) Winner must be available to be PM'ed or E-mailed.
When the winner is chosen and announced I will need a way to contact them to get their address to send them the prize/s won.

 (5) After notification you will have one (1) week to claim your winning Prize/s.
Make a note to yourself, or write down on your Calender, the date of the Contest ending time so that you may check back to see if you’ve won. After 1 week of notification all unclaimed Prizes will automatically default to the second winner.

 (6) At the end of the Contest I will make a post to announce the winner. I will then notify the winner for their address and the topic will be open for comments and congratulations to the winner, and I'll start my next contest soon after.

 END OF CONTEST RULES AND RESTRICTIONS
--------------------------------------------------------------------

 This 30th Contest will run starting at the time it’s posted and ending the evening of July 19th , 2008.

 What is/are the item/s to be won from this contest? ...
Prize/s ...

 Now on to the contest. What do I have to do to win? ...

It’s time for another Penguin Poem kiddies.
Compose a Poem about Penguin Magic and some of it’s products.

 1. Your Poem must have a Title above it.
 2. Your Poem must have an Authors’ name below it‘s Title, you may use your Penguin Username.
 3. Your Poem must have a minimum of EIGHT Stanzas with FOUR lines each.
 4. Each Stanza must have a rhyming factor.
 5. The first (1st) Stanza must contain the phrase “Penguin Magic”.
 6. Each following Stanza must contain the name of a product sold by Penguin Magic.
 7.
Humor will be a strong consideration in judging.

Below is an example of a 7 Stanza Poem that meets the Title, Author, Stanza, Line and Rhyming requirements …

To An Athlete Dying Young
by A. E. Houseman

The time you won your town the race
We chaired you through the market-place;
Man and boy stood cheering by,
And home we brought you shoulder-high.

To-day, the road all runners come,
Shoulder-high we bring you home,
And set you at your threshold down,
Townsman of a stiller town.

Smart lad, to slip betimes away
From fields where glory does not stay,
And early though the laurel grows
It withers quicker than the rose.

Eyes the shady night has shut
Cannot see the record cut,
And silence sounds no worse than cheers
After earth has stopped the ears:

Now you will not swell the rout
Of lads that wore their honors out,
Runners whom renown outran
And the name died before the man.

So set, before its echoes fade,
The fleet foot on the sill of shade,
And hold to the low lintel up
The still-defended challenge-cup.

And round that early-laurelled head
Will flock to gaze the strengthless dead,
And find unwithered on its curls
The garland briefer than a girl's.

Now, without further ado, let's get on with it ... whadaya say?

Make your entries.

GOOD LUCK TO ALL WHO PARTICIPATE.

The epic Journey of a full cart
By SirjonIV

Many online magic shops on the market,
But just one, can be good at it,
Penguin Magic, is what I mean,
Cheaper and new products, are being seen

There are so many good things to buy,
All I can do is sit down and sigh,
Not knowing which to keep on the cart,
Or which to take off or just use my heart.

Instant Downloads are a big thing here,
Or even that new trick, Water to Beer,
But don’t take my word for it,
The Self Tying shoelace is a nice, cool bit

Watching magic demos, I was doing,
“Ug!” Looking at more magic, I was viewing,
I don’t mind using much gimmicks,
But I don’t want to be like any of the mimics,

Extreme Burn and loads of rope,
UV Nighshades and the Multiplying Soaps
Man, I can’t decide on what to buy,
So many new DVD’s and books, I just want to cry!

From books of theories to content containing material,
To biographies of magic imperials,
Harry Houdini, Mark Wilson,
Thurston and Dai Vernon,

I know what I say is true,
From red sponge balls, to blue,
Those new Split Spade decks just came out,
I’ll be sure to pick some out, there is no doubt

New products come in everyday,
It’s just more money for me to pay,
Many different topics to look at,
Levitations, coin, card, mentalism, I know that

Nothing can come between me and Penguin magic,
If something did, boy, that would be tragic,
But before I end the ballad of my full cart,
I want you to know, this is just the start…

Penguin Magic is FANtast!c!
By: Harley

I wake up in the morning, log onto penguin magic at 4
I'm looking for some new tricks, looking to add to my arsenal a little more
I check the forums a little bit, just to see what new info is abound
That lovely color orange, signifying new posts, is like the sweetest sound!

I post and I post and I sit back and wait for some fun
In the meantime I start practicing my favorite trick, Morgan Strebler's SPUN
At last yes! A few people log onto the website
And than a moderator posts, but I cannot see his username, immediately I become filled with fright..

I take a break and go outside and perform The Raven
A heckler tries to guess how to do it, but I'm in my own haven
Filled with trick decks and incognito sleights
I do tricks so fast I close my eyes and turn off the lights

And than a young chap says "Wow sir, you're pretty great!"
So I steal his watch and show it to him and say "Thanks mate"
I have Emotional Intelligence waiting on hand in case I need
As the crowd amasses, new spectators line up to watch with greed

I begin to bust out Jeramy's 10 card Poker Deal
I move the cards so fast the lovely ladies begin to squeal
I say AHA! and work the crowd with such ease
I take out a hankerchief and catch a girl's snot before she begins to sneeze

I say do you really want to see something cool my friends?
They begin to clap, and they won't stop to no amends
So I take out my best of Oz Pearlman, his trick "Perfection"
And everyone begins to Oo and AHHH..even the very back section

At last someone states "Hey, are you david blaine?"
I begin to barf and say No young chap, I don't have his fame
So I take one of my favorites, Mambo # 5
I show him that I am indeed better than blaine, I strive

At last the crowd disappears, issuing me thank yous as I go
I laugh and say "you should be thanking Hundy 500" don't you know..
And finally I go home and log back onto penguin, thinking what to do? Should I post some more and than go to the ice rink?
And than I gufah, and say "No! I shall spend the day chatting with my bestest friend ever....Frijjid Pink  "

My Wink to Penguin

All of these magic websites got it all wrong
The fun is really at Penguinmagic.com
There are no over hyped Dvd's here
All of the marketing is really clear

We have products that are so good they are rated a perfect 10
We have products as dirty as Ding Dong Goshman
You can buy products for low prices with your Penguinmagic account
On top of that, you can use your 10% Discount

The community here is really nice
Whether you ask them about magic, girl, or acne advice
Most of them are really great folks
But a few of them are as helpful as poop jokes

There are lots of awesome promotions
That are as pleasuring as warm lotion
So if you buy Killer Key by Jay Sankey
You might get a free Haunted Hankey

We have so many different forums
There will never be any boredom
Penguin Magic has so much power
I check these boards every hour

In my heart I love this place
It has something for everybody's taste
From Instanst Downloads like The Multiple Shift
Or something crappy with Rob Stiff

Penguin Magic has everything that's on your list
Plus it has our cool mascot Corbis
So shop at Penguin and be happy
And have some morals and don't shop at E

I'm really hungry so I will have to go
Good thing Penguin sent me M&M's with my purchase of Dough
So I'll end this poem with a wink
And thank Penguin for these contests made by Frijid Pink

- Nikiel

The poor boy who still lives with his mom
Watching exposure on youtube.com
When he sees some magic that's not half bad
It's Gregory Wilson in a penguin magic ad.

So he types it into his address bar
Thinking Maybe with penguin I'll become a star
When the website loads he wants to scream
Charging money for tricks like the misers dream.

How can they charge so much when this is all free?
Out of the corner of my eye, what's this I see?
The forum link, maybe they can explain
Why people pay money for an appearing cane

So he makes a username, CheesCurd
And he asks why people pay money for things like the Hummingbird
Then he gets an answer, from an arrogant peer
Who tells him go back to E, we don't want you here

Tears appear in his eyes as he runs away,
What did I do wrong, what did I say?
Did he not know about the free tricks on youtube?
And how you could make your own dollar bill tube

When he looks up, he sees, through the tears in his eyes
There are replys from some of the nicer penguin guys
There was even one from the maker of Poetry Reading
which even came with a nice little greeting.

They said that he was stealing
When he looked up how to do card on ceiling
they told him to stop, and he said ok.
But that wasn't all they had to say.

They told him to buy Born to Perform
And to work on having really good form.
That kid grew up, and stuck with his mission
Now at a show in Vegas, he's the headlining magician.

The 8 steps of penguin magic.
By Mark Tirone (theres no "Y")

PenguinMagic, PenguinMagic
You got some much FREAKIN magic!
Everything here is but free.
But still I feel its all creepy!

Dave J castle is a D*** Head!
Let my Rocky chew his head .
All the exposure makes us all look lame!
But time and time its all the same!

Oz,Alvo,Noblezada, Jermay...
These are the organs of our body!
Nothing less but all so shabby
And postementalism makes me CRAZY.

Products like the penguin reel...
Make levitation look so real!
Everything makes my brain feel like it farted...
HarleyBoy thinks Pixar is r e t a r d e d.

With B2-Bomber don't even get me started...
All is as great as "The departed"
When did Jermay start doing cards???
Oh well, He got so far!

Dan Harlan and his Mullet..
Tom mullica and his wallet.
Penguin's stars such as Gazzo...
Buy Money, And get the download.

Has penguin gone too far??
There hot as fresh road tar!
Did Oz Pearlman just get braces???
His trick Clutch is in there faces.

What was the point of all this you say...
Frijid_Pink and his magic grace.
So now all thats left to say...
PenguinMagic,PenguinMagic...Don't go away.

Im eager to see the other entries. This might be the most interesting contest yet! Oh btw, HarleyBoy, I didnt mean anything bad. I was just joking around. Please dont take it personally. Good Luck to everyone!

The Penguin Rap, yo.

By Zachmonky

I'm bored as heck, lookin' for somethin' to do
On my bubble gum i did chew,
So I pop online to Penguin-Magic.com
I love this site, it is Da Bomb!

So i'm sittin' here on my fine leatha couch,
Thinkin' I should buy the Assassin's Pouch
I need somewhere to put my magic
i know, i know, it's very tragic

They got the new Split Spades, Which are really cool
Make sure you don't drop them in a swimmin' pool
Cause if you did, i know that you'd be real sad
A waste of 6 bucks can make anyone mad.

They got da Trilogy which is really hot
Them flourishes will make you a hot-shot
Headberg's Peak, that's what i do.
But my favorite trick, is Deja-Vu.

They got the Omnilope, by Mister Jay Sankey
And they Also have, the Haunted Hankey
Card tricks, coin tricks, and rope tricks too
Really cool, and easy to do!

Don't you ever buy, mystic smoke
The product description is a joke!
It says You have to apply this nasty goo
You cant get it off, and it smells like p**

Welded is a very neat trick
Corners fuse together, It'l make people tick!
They won't come apart, no matter how much you tug,
Only 17.35! *shameless plug*

Gee writing this took really long,
But i hope you enjoyed my little song,
The Penguin Rap, yo, is what i call it.
Oh and don't forget to buy a card wallet*!!!!

*only 99 cents, 90 cents with the 10 percent discount*

Video of rap: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eP3H96iCPSU
