You started out strong on this, I found myself getting into the first stanza, but it fell flat in the 3rd stanza. Good attempt though.




Oh and I am not going to enter this time, seeing as I have already won 3 times,(should have been 4...), and I am the reigning poem champ(I don't want my title taken from me, so I will just hand it off. ).

should I change the third stanza? honestly, cuz I mean that wouldn't be very hard to do...

^ Yeah, the third stanza doesn't rhyme.

The problem is that in some of your stanzas, all the lines rhyme, then in some of the others, 2 lines rhyme and the other 2 rhyme. Then in some of the others, 3 lines rhyme and 1 line is just there by itself. That is why I lost it at the 3rd stanza, the feel of the poem changed dramatically. You've got time to work on it, if you are allowed to edit your post, that is.

Yes, by all means, feel free to edit, change and improve your poems if you see fit.

As far as the rest of it goes, just be sure you follow the requirements for the Poems as listed. All the requirements will be critical for selecting the Winner ... so keep that in mind.

Have you ever wondered what it would be like
Penguins performed our art
Surly they would shop at penguin magic
Let us take a look at the life my penguin Mike

He started out with the penguin cups and balls
Soon after he got the the Penguin Pro Thread Reel
He thought that he could move to a better magic store
So he headed of to his two local malls.

In his attempt to be thrifty
He purchased the golden three shell game
To his disappointment when he got home
He realized he could have saved 7.50

Mike vowed never to leave penguin magic again,
And decided to make up for it by buying something new everyday
He bought books DVD’s and props galore
He even bought Greed for his cousin Ben

Mike recently decided to do kids shows
But where to start nobody knows.
He searched and searched even while eating chilly,
Then it struck him, seriously silly.

His kids show career was going great
He could finally afford to keep food on his plate
But he decided it needed something more
So he bought balloon school by Joe Montell

He decided to do cooperate events
So he bought Go Pro with Tom Krzystof
Unfortunately one of his clients was pissed off
So he shot and killed him in one of the event tents
