i am just about to make my own lock pick set and i was woundering what type of printer paper you use to get the template because you have to wet the paper and then iron it on the hacksaw blade but i dont no what type of parer it is.

would normal printer paper be use or does it have to be a certian type of paper

Check out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=auQbi_fkdGE for a tutorial on how to make lock picks. It looks like a lot of work and you need a grinder or at least access to one. Hope this helps. :D

also instead of a hacksaw blade used in the video, a simple street sweeper/cleaner blade will do perfect, and you wouldnt have to buy it! they are free in the street!
