Instead of learning from free online videos, which will teach you poorly, and your magic will suffer because of it, purchase Mark Wilson's Complete Course In Magic, which has a really good sponge ball routine in it. The book costs 20 dollars or so but has a ton of material in it other than just sponge balls. It is a great foundation in learning magic the proper way, without actually having someone teach you in real time.

Remember, learning from Online sources for free, bad. Learning from books and dvds, good.

Well even though you said you were on a tight budget, I'd recommend Spong by Jay Noblezada. This DVD will teach you all the palms and concealments, vanishes, productions, and even a few nice routines. Check it out:

Or get the DVD download.

I agree............

Sponge Ball magic is fantastic, and ALWAYS gets huge reactions! Sponge is a good dvd to start learning spongeball magic. It will teach you the essential sleights, and a few full routines. If you are serious about doing sponge magic at parties, I'd say spend the $19.99 for the dvd, you won't be sorry you did.

I really like a routine by Vito Lupo. You end you routine by "swallowing" one of the balls. You then continuously spit out sponge balls and end with a giant sponge ball in your mouth.

I think I seen Bizzaro doing that. Can you point me in the direction of where I would learn that?

Learning off the internet is unethical.

If you look through my material you will find sponge ball routines. Other pros also have very good sponge ball DVDs and books out, Bill Malone ect.

Dan.

I'm sorry, but 20 bucks for the Sponge dvd is too cheap. I got it, and I would pay $50 for it. It's worth the money. It even comes with extra spongeballs. It is great because you can create a longer routine using the sleights. Did you buy the spongeballs from Penguin? If so, you should learn the routine Oz teaches you.
