I just started Today trying to learn the coin roll between the fingers. SO far i have improved pretty well, but alot of work is needed. How long did it take you to learn to to it to perfection

A couple of days to get it down pretty well for me. I think my record was like 43 in a minute. I could probably do better now, but I haven't time myself in a looong time. That'll give me something to do this week.

I'd say about a week or so and I was doing it pretty good.

Half Dollar all the way. I can do it with a quarter, or even a penny, but I'm best with a Half Dollar.

Same with me. No dimes, they're just too darn small, but anything up to a silver dollar is good with me.

I can't remember how long it took me to be able to do it in the first place. But then when I jumped into coin magic more seriously I just did it all day. I still do it (along with other randome sleights) all day when my hands are free. That's the best way to learn. But you will drop it a lot. The hardest part for me is to make sure I practice it with my left hand too. I have to make a concious effort to practice with my left. So my left isn't nearly as good as my right is but, like I said, I'm constantly working on it. If you do keep working on it with every moment that your hands are free then you'll pick it up pretty quickly.

A few days in my right hand, still trying to learn it in my left hand. Problem is, I practice it while driving and I have a ring on my left hand, a ring I don't want to take off.

Took me quite a while to get it down with my right hand, because I started practicing in the winter and my fingers were always too dry.
My record was 60\minute, I probably can't do it anymore because I don't practice as much as I used to, I practice on doing the coin roll while classic palming a two coins.

I learn all one handed sleights- cards and coins- with my left hand, but I right and do most everything else with my right. :?: So I'm A LOT better at the coin roll with my left hand than my right.
