Its already obvious you don't have it. If you did, you'd know right away what PRISM is. PRISM is the colour series of mentalism (a book) by Max Maven. It's simply called PRISM because it was originally different coloured booklets released separately, and then combined into a book later on. Its available here at penguin if I'm not mistaken. Search for it in the bar at the top.

Oh yeah, armchair bowler is amazing. It'd be very tough for me to pick just four of these that I like, the whole book is good.

I just met Max Maven yesterday! I should have brought my copy of PRISM for him to sign.

Anyways, my favourite effects are: Destiny, Nucleus, and his mental bowling effect (the name escapes me.)

Hahaha. I had the exact same thought when I read his post. I don't have prism, but It just sounded like he was trying to sound smart by piggybacking on someone else's opinion.

the last part made me chuckle a little. it's mentioned in the two posts above yours. Armchair Bowler. Sorry if that sounded mean, it wasn't meant to, more light-hearted.

Can someone give me a mini description of what happens in the effect: 'Desire'?
A number of you seem to like it and I have no idea what it is.

The mentalist hands out 6 pencils and index cards to his subjects, he tells 5 of the 6 subjects to wright down a place they have been to and think about it, he tells the remaining one to write down a place he has a DESIRE to go to one day. They are all handed back to the mentalist, face down.

He turns over the top card and it says Paris (example), he then says who it belongs to, his does this with the next four cards.

The last card happens to be the DESIRED place, the mentalist changes things to make it more difficult to him, because he odviously knows who it belongs to (because it is the only one left). So the mentalist tries to predict wich place the man wrote down without looking at the card this time. He is correct.

That's desire it is simple and all you need is 6 pencils and 6 index cards.
