Yes, they are great for learning. They're what I got when I first started clubs. Just make sure to get the ones with the big flames on them! Mine only had a really small flame symbol...

I just got the HB taped spirit clubs at $10 a club. Does anyone know how these compare to more expensive, more professional clubs like say, PX3's? I don't want to make too big an investment for my first clubs but I want something with quality.

some time back.. i had a manipulation show, where i juggled with the balls a produced... it was pretty good!

Juggling would obviously fit into a ball manipulation act very well, and Jason Byrnes jugges a little in his bird act, and Penn and Teller juggle a tiny bit in their cups and balls act. I think it needs to be used subtely in magic, but when used only a little it generally looks good I think.
