Well, i have been performing at a restaurant for about 6 months or so and everyone has got accustomed to me being a card guy :D , i dont mind i think its fine.

But i was just wondering can anyone help dirrect me to some solid card effects that work great in restaurants

Preferably -

Improtue or under 3 seconds set up
and NO GIMMICKS

Direction to books, dvds, ect is all fine :D

And i was also wondering for any other great effects that work in a restaurant setting, (note - nothing with coins please)

Thank You

If you know the biddle trick (utilizing the "biddle" move) then you can do that and take one of the "five" cards and make one vanish and turn "invisible", ala the rub-a-dub vanish (this vanish kicks BUTT!), then crack some jokes and get them to throw the "invisible"card into the deck (face up), I've never once done that trick without somebody swearing.

^That one gets great reactions (especially at the rub a dub vanish).

Two other good ones are Las Vegas Leaper (found in Paul Harris' AOA series), and Joke in the box (Gregory Wilson's Card Stunts).

I second the Jay Sankey idea. Or buy some David Regal stuff. Or buy Daniel Madison's Dangerous:// Mystique.

The real work has alot of filler IMO. But for $20 it's a good, atleast 5 good effects for Resturantes.
