This is an old trick that is e-z to do.
The magican comes on stage reading a newspaper,
he tares it in haft and again and again and again.
When it torn into about 1/16th of this orginal size,
w/ a little magic, he un-folds it and it is fully restored.
This is stage magic and is not up close or street magic.

It looks good, but is not examinable. It can definitely be done as parlour magic, and not stage magic though.

It is a great effect and can be performed in most venues.
The method is excellent.
Sure you can't hand it out afterwards, but who cares.
