I am looking for the best Flipper Half dollar for 30 dollars or less. I have 50 to spend for my Bday, and I also want to get Nathan Kranzo's expanded shells which cost 20 dollars. So what one should I get?

Don't get Kranzo's shells. They are pure crap. If you want to be under $50, go for a Tango shell and flipper. Joshua Jay uses them, and I have the flipper. They're good, but not as good as Lassen.

Really, I have heard nothing but good things about Kranzo's shells.

Where can I get the Tango coins? I have also heard nothing good about Tango products.

I see a Sasco flipper on Penguin, but it is out of stock.

Eric, I like Tango's coins. I prefer Johnson, but the Tango coins will work.

Tango it is, I just needed a second opinion. Not that yours wasn't good enough Magicman, but Exodus put your suggestion on top.

What about Kranzo's shells Jeff? I like that you get 2 for 20, but if they aren't good quality, I will settle for one from a tangible source.

They're alright. I saw one from Troy Hooser's Shellraiser video. They fit snug, so you have to be careful. Worst case scenario, the Flipper won't fit. I'd got with a Johnson shell. I didn't like the Tango Shells much. They're alright for the price, but the extra money is well spent.

Now is a magnetic flipper necessary, or is that just overkill?

I finally found a Tango flipper at Murphy's, but it is magnetic.

It's a bit overkill for some people, but I've been thinking about having Schoolcraft fix mine to make it a magnetic. It makes it very easy to hold out and sneak in.

Ok, so I got a Tango Silver Kennedy Half, and a Tango magnetic Kennedy Flipper.

I also threw in a couple of other things to bring me about 50 dollars and with my 10 percent discount, brought me back under 50 dollars, and I still get the Promo!!! Gotta love loopholes!!!

THey used to give it out with orders, but now they don't. I guess it's a perk of being a long time customer.
