I m looking for a table that i can put in my magic box
I want use it for my birthdays kids when they isn't a table that i can use.

That's a nice table, but I really wouldn't pay the money for it.

The table I use is from Wal-Mart by the way.

$200 is a GOOD price for a table, most are well over $300

But it's still expensive no matter what. That's why I got mine at Wal-Mart.

I know a lot of magician friends that make their own. So far my hubby hasn't made one for my daughter because she works off her Lefler table. Eventually I'm sure she will end up with one.

I believe they are relatively easy to make. Just go to a music shop for the base and make the top.

I’m a big fan of my Lefler table. If you want to be a pro you have to look like one. I think borrowing a table takes you down a notch in the clients books.
As for building a table if you have the skill set and the time then by all means. I built my first one but quickly bought the Lefler when the money was there.
So please invest the time, invest the energy, and invest the money.

I love my Lefler table, but I can see where some magicians would want a smaller table. For magicians who "pack small", a small table is perfect for them.

Oh, and I meant to say earlier--- is there anything in magic that isn't expensive? LOL Just remember, quality counts. And even when things seem expensive, it is also giving a client an impression of you. Even if it is just a table.

There's really nothing in magic that's cheap. It's all fairly expensive, but not to far out of the way. In my opinion, $200 for a table is out of the way.

I use several small folding tables from Wal-Mart. They come in a natural finish, the legs are in an X shape, and they come together and the top folds down. I painted them flat black, covered them with black felt, added some black fringe around the edge and some brass thumb tacks on the edges, too. Can't even tell it was the same table. I use them for my Take Apart Vanish Box routine.

I covered my table in green felt.

I made a table using the instructions from the mark wilson complete book of magic and i made another one cutting the top out of wood and using a mic stand for the base.

I work out of my pouch. the same one I use for busking. The only thing that doesn't fit is my chinese rings so I have them around my neck during the whole show until I use them.

I think you may still be in the UK, so when people talk about Wal-Mart, the closest you will find here is Asda, they are owned by Walmart and are pretty similar.

Costco is always a great place to look. Also, any of the big Tesco stores.

My Dad and I made my table which is the suitcase (Lefler) type table several years ago. You can make a table that would cost you $300.00 if you bought it elsewhere for about $80.00.
We got the best material and really put it together well. This is my fav table and will use it for as long as I can especially since my Pop passed away this past September.
So there is a lot of sentiment in this one.
