Personally I'd put Ammar WAY above Noblezada as a teacher, but that's just me. Not saying Jay's bad by any means, he's a great teacher. Ammar just covers everything really well and thoroughly for me.

1. Lance Burton - King of the stage.
2. David Copperfield - If only for childhood memories of wonderment.
3. Penn & Teller - For Teller's supreme sleight of hand, and Penn's mouth.
4. Cardini - Why won't the cards stop appearing!?
5. Dai Vernon - The man baffled Houdini, for God's sake.

------

6. Derren Brown - Mentalism doesn't get any better. His card tricks rock, too.
7. Cyril Takayama - How did I forget to put this guy here?
8. Houdini - Needs to be mentioned, even if most of his work was escapology.
9. Richiardi - Bloods and guts, oh my!
10. Criss Angel - Not the best at street magic, but give him a stage and prepare your mind to be blown.

I don't know how long you've been in magic but you're new here so I don't think you've been into it too long but I'd bet this list will change dramaticaly in a year.

And what unknown magicians are gonna make me change my mind? Luke Jermay? Oz Pearlman? Paul Vigil? Jay Sankey?

Sorry, but unless someone breaks out in a major way, my list, which hasn't changed in over 3 years, won't be seeing any change anytime soon.

Sorry if I offended you, your list just seems kind of... I don't know... commercial? If you ask magicians who their favorite magicians are, they usualy won't say names like those.

Hey, the topic was favourite magicians, not best. Doesn't matter how many times I watch their (my top list's) stuff, it's always entertaining because they themselves are entertaining.

You find Angel's stage show entertaining?
