Cause more db is a good thing. I hope he does something at least once a year.

Don't "hold your breath" on that one.

Oh great! Now we're going to be "buried alive" with these. Let's just put this on "ice". It's "Thames" for a new topic, before we have a "revolution"

Hopefully it won't be just once a year, but after his Dive of Death stunt failed, he was quoted saying, "My next special will be even better, with far more magic in it than what you saw on my Dive of Death special."

Not sure what kind of stunt he'll perform, but whatever it is I will definitely support him the best way I can and make sure people are aware of his next special so everyone can see how a Professional Magician does his work.
All the while Criss Angel will just try to top David with more magic, but I just don't see him having the same redeeming quality that David Blaine has, at least not in my eyes. So before people jump down my throat for that, realize it's just my opinion.

I never tune in to see Blaine's stunts. It's all about the magic during the interim.

Just stop it, this topic is going "vertigo", all it's going to do is take a "dive of death".

David Blaine's specials are quickly going down hill. Even the ratings are showing it. The main problem in any programs ratings is often the length. Personally I think this special was stretched out an extra hour just so ABC could ad more commercial spots. There was no reason it needed to be 2 hours. 1 solid hour would have been much better.

What do you think?

The ratings on this last special were low because of circumstances that could not be helped. Bush spook before this special, and it just screwed things up somewhat.

As for Blaine doing more than one special a year, I doubt it. Blaine is busy doing other things throughout the year. Also, he doesn't want to over do them and saturate his fans with too much.

I doubt we will hear from Blaine again until about 2-5 years.

I don't deny that Blaine screwed up. The ending of his special sucked. But that would not have made the ratings low. It will just most likely make the ratings for his next special low.

I wish that Blaine would stop with his stunts and focus on what actually made him famous his magic who cares about if he can hold his breath for 17 minutes underwater? Or stay on a narrow pole for who knows how long?

The only reason I watched his last special was because I wanted to see if he would use anything new and the only thing I didn't like was his bullet catch you could see the method a mile away.

Also all of the stuff he performed (excluding the Compression Deck (when is that supposed to come out anyways?) Lit and the Bullet Catch) I've already done before from what I remember because it was at the end of September and my mind is a little hazy from that special so it was kind of a pointless special to watch because the only thing I'd ever want from that special would be the Compression Deck and Lit.
