Just my opinion, but I like the Morgan dollar a lot more than the peace, just by looks. I don't have either coin

I have both, and Morgans look a lot better. Also, the Morgans I have are softer than the Peace Dollar, making it ideal for Three Fly.

Morgans are better. Peace dollars are jsut plain UGLY! Morgans look better when they are dirty too. I bought a magnetic walking liberty coin at a convention for less than the real coin.

I believe the American Silver Eagle to be THE best looking;

Depending on the size of your hands, the walking liberty is about the best looking coin, and everyone loves it. It is not a very often seen coin, and everytime I perform a trick with it, everyone makes comments. The barber quarter would be my choice for smaller hands, as it is an unusual coin.

But if you have large hands.. the Morgan is the better looking coin for coin magic, hands down.

Cheers
RJ

it looks like it is just a walking liberty coin with a less detailed kennedy back.

Yes it does, but it's a full 1 oz of .999 Silver. I think they're a bit bigger than the standard dollar size, not half dollar.

I'm trying to find inexpensive Morgan coins, does anyone have any suggestions? Would banks carry them or would I have to go through an onilne site?

Thanks,
Will

Go to a coin shop f you're in the U.S. Banks will NOT have them.
online stores could work, but you can't really know what you're getting.

I'm in Nashville and I can't find anything in the yellow pages. Could you do me a quick favor and locate one online via search engine? Maybe you know what to look for.

Thanks,
Will
