I absolutely Loooooooove my barber half dollars. They are silent as ninjas.hahaha. Well you get the idea. I can do so many things with my barber's that I can't do with my kennedy's. But if i'm doing something that doesn't require soft coins or isn't enhanced in someway from using soft coins then I'll just stick with kennedys. Or if i'm doing shell work because I don't have a barber shell (yet) but I do have a kennedy shell.

I also use british pennies for various tricks that require two different coins. And I have one eisenhower dollar for different random things. I want to get some soft morgan dollars sometime as well. But i'm pretty happy with what I've got.
AAAUUURRGGGG!!!! Oh and I forgot to put another one on my list. I use washers for charming chinese challenge because it goes with my story line. I dont use too many foreign coins because it takes away from the show having everybody wanting to examine the coins and calling out. so I removed the chinese coins and replaced them with washers haha

That's actually a really good idea!

I just watched the demo and for the most part he was using a walking liberty half dollar. There were a couple of instances were I saw the tails side of what was either a barber half or a morgan dollar. Because the eagles on the barbers and the morgans look similar too eachother but completely different from the walking liberty. As far as pictures, you can do a google image search and see them very easily.

Me too ^_^ Most of my gaffs are Kennedy halves, so I use those the most. However, there is a coin/jewlery/pawn shop here in town, and they have boxes and boxes of really cool exotic coins for $0.25 - $1... so lately I've also been using the old French 5 Franc, English Pennies, the old Greek 10/20 Drachmas, 2 Euros, and a few other random foreign/domestic coins.

P.S. If I were less of a hobbiest and money were no object, then I would certainly use Walking Liberties and Morgans ^_^

I kind of mix it up....Ike dollars, Morgans, Walking Lib's, Franklins, English/Australian/New Zealand pennies, Canadian dollars, etc... Sometimes Kennedy halves but not too much anymore....really like the feel and sound of silver....

A lot has changed over the last year...

I still use Walking Liberties
I use Irish Pennies as my copper coins.
I use Ton Onosaka Chinese coins.
I also love using East African Dimes and South African Pennies.
