Anyone know of a good source on coin steals (like when they see a coin in your right hand and you move it to your left hand invisibly) and false counts? (2 for 3, etc.)

Dai Vernon's steal was great. Essentially, it's a Heel Clip Steal into Thumb Palm. Geoff Latta released a move that's similar, only it's a steal with the middle and ring fingers. Shoot Ogawa uses the Muscle Pass very effectively to move coins from hand to hand, because the hands don't have to come close. Those are the primary ones that I know.

As for False Counts, Mike Rubenstein has one based on his ROPS Move that's on the New York Coin Magic videos. Paul Wilson also uses one in his Pennihook routine from Knock'em Dead, but I don't recall the name of it. Sankey put out a version with the Himber Vanish that he uses in Mexican Jumping Coins and a few other routines. Those are about all I can think of right now.

The Jay Sankey false count (counting 2 as 3) in a coins across routine is a combination of a Himber vanish and a click pass. The move is hard but worth it.

He explains it in the video set Sankeys Greatest Hits

Good luck
Ted

ps....... you have to check out his "Mr Clean Coins Across" It kills!! That's good stuff exodus... you are a man of many hidden ideas!!

I love the steal david stone teaches on volume two of his coin magic dvds. It fooled me badly. There is also the one jeff reffered to that I learned in one of roths expert coin magic made easy videos that i thought was called the cardini steal but i may be mistaken. I hate the rops move. I think it is horrible. I generally dislike most of rubinsteins magic. It's just all fishy and not very entertaining.

Sankey has the himber two for three count as mentioned before that is taught on rev coin magic. I've seen tim feher do this biddle steal like move with coins on some of his recent videos. I can't think of any others at the moment.

well for the first one you could just get 21st century coin mechanics. I don't know about the sedond one but it looked similar to the cardini steal and the one david stone uses.
