I was in school, just hanging out with my friends and decided since I wasn't doing anything at the moment, why not practice a slight? I dug around my pocket and found a half dollar. So, I started thinking "What should I practice?" I saw an empty (cap-less) Vitamin Water bottle lying around, and decided that it would make a great "wand" for the Strike Vanish. Probably not the best idea I've ever had, but I figured what's the worst thing that could happen, right?

I called attention to one of my friends and said "Watch this, it's gonna be awesome." Well, I thought he's gonna see the coin vanish, end of story; but something far more awesome happened. As I executed the vanish, I accidentally tilted the bottle at the PERFECT angle so that when the coin flew up, instead of my hand catching it - it flew into the mouth of the bottle at the perfect speed to create an amazing illusion of coin in bottle.

My friend sat there awestruck (as did I). He was screaming "THAT WAS AWESOME!", which obviously caught the attention of my other friends. Unfortunately, I was unable to reproduce the "freak accident" and the rest of them just saw a normal Strike Vanish with a bottle.

It was awesome...

Wow,

Cool............. maybe you could do it again if you practiced enough. Good story.

I tried all day, but it only works 10% of the time. But I will keep trying.

Your pretty lucky. You screwed up, and you were just fortunate enough for the coin to go in the perfect place. Which I had your luck.

Know what is odd? That is the EXACT method of another trick on the market. Can't tell you which one, because that would be exposure!

Seriously though, it is. Used in a slightly differnet way.

Nice job though! Pretty cool!

Are you talking about a certain trick involving a glass?

Yeah, I know. I actually was inspired by that trick a while back for a coin to bottle, but never was able to get it to work. This time is was by accident!

~Exposure of a crappy trick~. Popchris, you need to edit your post as well. It's still a crappy trick IMO.

If it's performed quick enough, it's not a "crappy trick". That's what I think anyways.

But, what do I know. Nothing.
