You posted this in "Restaurant Walkaround" so I strongly suggest you lose the flash paper.

you seem to like purse frame.

well they do capture ones imagination, I think they are brilliant.

but no sane man would walk around with that in their pockets, except a magician.

I think magicians appreciate them more than laypeople.

Depends on his PLI (and age), but I am covered in restaurants by mine and the restaurants are ok with it, so I enjoy using it. Not always, but I do use it a fair amount in restaurants.

Not in the U.S. Ever since the fire in Rhode Island a few years ago IBM or SAM insurance specifally exempt any fire or flash. Plus when some customer across the restaurant sees the flash, they could scream FIRE and start a panic.

Yeah, No fire.

At the On The Border Cafe they specifically had that in the contract. No fire. Open flames of any kind (matches, candles, etc) are out.

You seem to have an awful lot of card effects. I'd recommend getting a general book or DVD on coin magic or mentalism to expand your repertoire.

I would say buy some Sankey stuff. Sankey has really awesome stuff for restaraunt work; so does Dan Fleshman and David Regal.

Buy what will benefit you most in a restaraunt is a book like Dan Fleshman's "Working in Restaraunts for Fun and Profit". Great book even if you are a seasoned restaraunt worker.

It's a legal nightmare, and not necessary. There are more factors to consider when working professionally than "what's cool".

Luckily, we don't seem to have a problem with it here...well...as far as I am aware.

It's not just cool though, it can be used as a nice opener if you do it right...or closer.

Either way, I wouldn't make a big deal of having it in your routine but if you have it and it's legal where you are, go for it.

If not, why bother? Use it on the street or in your own stage show if you were to expand into either of those fields.
