Magic can be used to impress people, but not for it's magical impact. If you do a trick well and it's tasteful, skillful, surprising and well rehearsed, and if you're charming and witty and well dressed and professional, then this girl is almost certainly going to be impressed, not because you can produce a rose out of thin air, but that you did it so well. Be yourself, be entertaining, be magical, and who wouldn't be impressed.

The only thing magic can do for you is set you apart from every other guy. Dont do it to "impress" her, do it in the sense of "hey this is what iv been working on, what do you think". In her mind she doesnt see it as you trying to impress her rather than you want an opinon on somthing. Yet in the back of her mind she subconciouslly(sp?) is saying to herself "wow this guy is diffrent then the others". The goal in life is to surive and replecate. Period. What ever you can do to set yourself apart from others is going to work FOR you.
