Hey guys, I have an expanded shell and have been working for the past few months on the Shell section in Bobo's.
I know Jeff posted a topic on shells but I want to be more specific.
For reinforcing my shell knowledge, which would be some good ideas
World's Greatest on expanded shells, ShellRaiser, CoinOne, CoinTwo, or something else.
Also, It does not have to be a DVD, I love books too! :D

Thank you in advance,
Chase

not sure if this is one you named above, but Penguin just got this shell DVD in stock, not sure if that is one you don't have. Kainoa Harbottle sells on his website 2 shell books but he has closed the products page for a bit while he makes revamps to the site. you can check those out at kainoaland.com

Thank you for the Harbottle reccommendation.
And yes, shell shocked is what they got in a few days ago.

Thanks,
Chase

Ok, I have the Roy Keuppers half dollar shell in my cart (hope it is a nice shell. is it heads or tails?) I am debating between Shellraiser and Worlds Greatest Expanded Shells DVD. Which one do you recommend and do they both teach fundamentals?
Much appreciated!

All the best,
-Chase

I would recommend WGM over Shellraiser any day. It's a great DVD!

Does it teach all of the fundamentals?

All the best,

David Roth teaches how to care for your shell...
I don't think there are many "fundamentals." Just don't drop it.

I agree with Jeff. I have both Shellraiser and WGM, and trust me - Shellraiser wanes in comparison to WGM. In Shellraiser, you're not gonna learn much that is already in BOBO except for exTROYdinary lite (which is a great routine, but not worth the entire DVD). WGM teaches so many different routines and applications, so worth the price.

You really think so? I liked Shellraiser. The WGM video has some great stuff on it, too. Those would be the two I would have recommended for variety of effects.
