I have been looking for this card effect ever since David Blaine's Dive of Death special. I remember seeing it for sale at one time, but I didn't have the money to afford it. So I waited a week, finally had the money, and now not a single Online Magic Store has it, and has been that for what seems like a couple months.

I sent an e-mail to the good people at Penguin Magic, and they said they'll have some in a week, and well, that was 3 weeks ago.

So if anyone can help me find a website that has even just one for sale, I would be eternally grateful. Hope to hear from someone soon.

Last I heard at the cafe, the makers of the DVD decided not to put it out after all. I don't know how true that is though.

Assuming that's true, were there a certain amount of people able to obtain this card effect before they decided to pull it from future sales? Quite depressing to hear if it's true, because it's the only card effect that I would spend double the price of any magic dealer store to obtain a copy.

Of course it might very well be an illusion the creators would want to be exclusive to big name magicians, kind of like my Carl Cloutier's Card in the Sock device that I was fortunate to buy many years back, and have never ever seen it for sale since then.

/sigh

As far as I know, they never finished the product. So I doubt it was ever on the market at all. Plus, if it had I would've heard about a review or something at the Cafe.

Mind if I send you a PM about Carl Cloutier's Card in the Sock, cause I have a question about one of the items that came with it, or was supposed to come with it. And don't worry, I'm not trying to scam you and learn how the trick is done, cause I can prove to you that I actually own it, but when I was reading the instruction manual, I ran across something that I have been wanting to ask someone else you might possibly own one too that could help me.

I was able to talk to Doug McKenzie over at Theory11 about Compression, and this is what he had to say to me:
_______________________________________________________________
I'm sorry but the product will not be released. We had a few internal issues regarding it's release and have decided that it was best for all parties involved not to continue with the release.

Thanks

Doug

Which really sucks if you ask me, because it was one of the highlights that I remember and will always remember from the Dive of Death special.
Now my only hope is to travel to where all the big name Magicians preform and hope and pray that one of them has it and can perform it for me in person.

Well I have the DVD which explains it along with 3 other tricks so I built my own. PM me anyway, maybe I can help.
