Ok,

Doug Henning did a vanishing Nickel with a thread hookup on national television (I think Johnny Carson Show) that I used to have when I was a kid. One handed, nickel in your palm, close you hand, turn it over, it vanishes.

I can't remember exactly how to **********. Does anyone know if you can buy this trick anywhere/how to hook up the *****?

Ted

If I remember correctly, John Cornelius was the one who came up with the Vanishing Nickel. Doug Henning brought it to the limelight on National Television. It is still sold...I know Hank Lee has it and Penguin does as well. Vanishing Nickel. I seem to remember that it may have also been marketed by the name Fickle Nickel years ago.

I know what you are talking about, but I don't remember the moves as I would use two hands when I did it.

"Two hands?" It would be pretty hard to even do the Cornelius "Fickle Nickel" move with two hands. It's naturally a one handed move. You show your hand back and front, turn it palm down briefly and when you turn it up again a coin is in it. Vanishing is just as clean. Your other hand never comes near the action.
